Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role serves PK and Elementary (K-8) students in a cross-categorical pull-out caseload for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. With a schedule of 16 hours per week, you'll have the chance to provide targeted interventions and see students grow throughout the year.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation, therapy planning, and progress reporting
• Able to individualize services for a diverse student population, including those with varying needs and communication challenges
• Effective communicator and collaborator with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy in pull-out and small group settings for pre-K through 8th grade students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student services
• Maintain accurate records and data on student progress in compliance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams to align strategies
• Stay current on best practices and legal mandates relevant to school-based SLP services
