Responsibilities:
• Teach clients proper technique for all exercises, especially those requiring more complex equipment, to reduce injury risk
• Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety
• Perform personal fitness assessments to ensure that all exercise routines are appropriate for each client
• Improve client fitness by customizing exercises to meet each person's unique needs and skills
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust their fitness plans accordingly

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and other team members
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• This role requires fitness instructor or personal trainer certification
• A current personal training certification from an accredited organization. Preferably, NASM, CPR, First Aid, and AED
• Experience with Frequent Fitness Evaluations
• Ability to Demonstrate Proper Detailed Exercise Instruction and experience in working with all types of individuals to ensure all workout movements are appropriate for each client's physical capabilities, and revise this based on clients' progress toward their goals, with attention to detail to reduce the risk of injury by teaching clients good form for all movements
• Maintain all gym policies, standards, and safety requirements to ensure that clients are safe and comfortable while training
• Possess a high standard of honesty, ethics, and integrity, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and high energy
• Willingness to start in a part-time position and, ultimately, if it is a good fit, we are looking for a full-time coach
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous personal training experience (fitness studio, health club, in-home trainer, etc.)
• Basic nutrition knowledge or a nutrition coaching certificate
• Kinesiology/Exercise Science Degree
