Fabrication Shop Counter Sales

The Ideal Candidate focuses on customer service, order processing, and basic sales skills within a manufacturing environment . The job involves assisting customers with product inquiries, taking orders, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. It also includes assisting customers with technical aspects of the products, such as materials, specifications, and applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, listen to their needs, and answer their questions about products and services.
- Order Processing: Take orders, enter them into a system, and ensure accuracy.
- Sales: Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and close sales.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock items, and maintain a clean and organized sales area.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical information about products, including materials, applications, and specifications.
- Cash Handling: Process payments, reconcile cash, and follow established procedures.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, both in person and over the phone, and collaborate with other team members.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
- Sales Skills: Understanding of sales principles, customer needs identification, and closing techniques.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using order management systems, inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and product applications.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, manage inventory, and process orders accurately.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for pricing, discounts, and order quantities.
- Problem-solving Skills: Ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and find solutions.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
