Morning Janitor - Part Time (Tues&Fri) - Bedford Park - 19/hr - (12hr/week)

Job Summary

Evergreen Cleaning Group is hiring 1 reliable cleaner for early morning commercial janitorial work at an office building.

1 position: Bedford Park

Schedule
2 days per week (Tuesday and Friday)
6am – 12pm
~12 hours per week to start
Consistent schedule at the same location each day (no traveling between sites)

Pay

• $19/hour
• Opportunity for additional hours and growth over time

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and consistent attendance (this is critical)
• Able to work independently
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Clean office spaces, including restrooms, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Empty trash and recycling
• Restock supplies and maintain cleaning equipment
• Follow safety procedures and site-specific instructions
• Occasionally assist with special tasks or seasonal needs
• Wear Evergreen badge and company polo
• You will be assigned to a consistent location each day. On rare occasions, you may be asked to assist at a nearby site to support the team.

Qualifications

• Basic English skills required — must be able to read cleaning instructions, follow checklists, and communicate with supervisor as needed
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site, especially for evening hours
• Reliable and punctual — someone who shows up on time every time
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Takes pride in doing a job well, even when no one’s watching
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable being on your feet and doing light physical work
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use standard cleaning tools
• Previous janitorial experience is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
