Kiddie Academy is looking for a FUN and Experienced PRE-K LEAD TEACHER! As a Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of children. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. You will design and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and interaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child's growth and development. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and development in young children.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for pre-k aged children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Follow all licensing regulations and guidelines for childcare centers.
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet educational objectives.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on their level.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students.
- Strong organizational skills for planning and implementing daily activities.

Salary: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
