Electrical / Mechanical Inspector

Job description:

Duration : 6 months + 40 hours per week (Nov.1,25 - May 1, 26.)

Work scope:

Comprehensive inspection/commissioning services.
o Audit the L1 checklist process.
o Perform inspections on the modules without impeding construction progress
o Assist with training and maturing the manufacturer's QA inspection team and processes.

Below is a recap in detail of the typical services provided as part of this service offering:
1. Provide an onsite visual inspection and/or observation for construction quality control. - Scope to include:
a. Perform routine examination and checks of the ongoing work to assure quality installation and
execution of the work is maintained per the contract documents. This includes required testing and
final follow-up checks conducted and all deficiencies corrected to make sure the contractor shall not
build upon nor conceal non-conforming work.
b. Provide support and protocol to ensure proper inspection and cleaning of equipment prior to
energization.
2. Participate in review of MEP submittals, owner & customer standards, specifications, contract documents,
and spot check materials / product data onsite for compliance.
3. Assist in confirming that Level I documentation is reviewed, properly completed and retained including the
following as applicable:
a. FWT test reports / checklists
b. BAS / Sequence of Operations
c. Coordination Study
i. Assist in confirming coordination study is properly implemented and documented on project.
d. NETA Testing Log and Reports
i. Confirm that discrepancies / issues are being tracked and corrected.
ii. Confirm that data sheets are complete.
iii. Confirm that NETA testing stickers are placed on tested equipment
iv. Confirm that sign off is on latest approved SCCS document.
e. Equipment Insulation Resistance / Megger Logs and Reports
f. Phase Rotation / Energization Logs and Reports
g. Equipment Torquing Logs and Reports
h. Mechanical Pipe Pressure Reports
i. Assist in review of process with team to confirm approved process is being implemented.
