Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with High School Science Endorsement
• Must have attended AVID Summer Institute within the last three years
• AVID Elective Teacher Training preferred

Important Notes

• This position is for the District's College & Career Readiness Summer Transition Program, which will be located at Centennial High School.
• This program runs Monday, June 29, 2026 - Thursday, July 2, 2026.
• Student Contact Hours will take be from 8:30 a.m.-1:10 p.m.
• Staff will be expected to be on duty (an will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
• Initial required training (paid) will be Friday, June 26, 2026 from 2:00 p.m.-3:00p.m.
• Teachers will be paid at the rate of $40.00/hour for actual hours worked.
• Please note that classes will only run if enrollment requirements are met, regardless of whether a position has been offered.
