Position Summary:
Vista Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles, while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of orthopedic care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.

• Perform orthopedic procedures including joint replacements, arthroscopies, and fracture care.

• Develop treatment plans in coordination with physical therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists.

• Evaluate patient condition through history-taking, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.

• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and rehabilitation.

• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Active Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain).

• Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.

• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
