River Forest Animal Hospital is a six-doctor general practice located in River Forest, IL. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a fully equipped surgical suite, dental suite, in-house diagnostic laboratory, and a radiology suite featuring digital radiography and ultrasonography.
We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our friendly, upbeat, and fast-paced team.
About the Role
As our Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for both clients and their pets.
About You
The ideal candidate:
- Has prior customer service experience in a veterinary setting
- Thrives in an upbeat, fast-paced environment with frequent client interaction
- Is comfortable scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing payments
- Is a self-motivated team player who enjoys collaborating with veterinary professionals
- Possesses excellent communication skills and can multitask effectively
- Is compassionate, patient, empathetic , and enjoys working with pets and their people
- Has experience with AviMark software (or is willing to learn)
- Is available to work evenings and weekends
Schedule & Compensation
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule may include:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Monday–Friday availability
Required Experience
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (required)
- Front desk/customer service experience: 2 years (required)
Preferred Availability:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekends
