We’re looking for a receiving clerk who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the backbone of warehouse operations. As the first in line to handle all incoming material, you’ll ensure accuracy, quality, and a smooth workflow across the organization. Responsible to receive all inbound goods, then enters, verifies, and validates the information within the ERP system and informs the appropriate person of the receipt. Opening inbound material may require the use of various power and handheld tools. Checks each inbound good for quality and accuracy of the part. Performs necessary inspections on inbound material which may require the use of calipers, micrometers, ID gauges, and tape measurers. Responsible for putting inbound material away or to the next warehouse location once receiving process is complete. Works hand in hand with purchasing to maintain inventory records. The receiving clerk must maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
