General Manager

Join our Management Team! General Managers start between $47,000 - $50,000 annually + bonus opportunity monthly.

Summary:

Manage all functions of the restaurant to ensure customer service, high-quality products, and profitability. Responsible for executing fast, accurate sandwich preparation, world-class customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized shift.

Requirements:

• Manage a staff of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 3-50 employees, overseeing 50+ hours of labor weekly.
• Assign, oversee, and evaluate work for compliance.
• Handle hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
• Delegate and manage ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies to minimize waste and theft.
• Assist in supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food.
• Forecast food consumption per shift.
• Supervise food preparation and service operations; assist during rush periods to maintain efficiency.
• Greet customers, take orders, operate cash register, assemble orders, and ensure correctness.
• Ensure every customer receives world-class service.
• Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery speed and business.
• Complete daily food preparations and opening procedures.
• Execute systems and procedures with integrity and completeness.
• Accurately complete daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork.
• Manage inventory using weekly systems and maintain regular ordering schedules.
• Conduct weekly manager meetings.
• Audit systems, procedures, and shift paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Manage cash drawers and deposits per procedures.
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment:
• Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong math skills including fractions and percentages.
• Proficient with computers, especially Excel and Word.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Work environment involves moderate noise and occasional exposure to mechanical parts.
