Medical Assistant - Kankakee Area

Overview

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to Join our Medical Group Teams in Kankakee/ Bourbonnais!

Location - Kankakee, IL or Bourbonnais IL

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-hour Schedule with start times between 6:30-8:30am for an 8 hour schedule. No observed holidays or weekends.

Experience - We are looking for someone with experience in injections, point of care testing, EKG testing, and medication management.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.

2. Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.

3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5. Work experience in health care preferred.
