Children & Youth with Special Health Care Needs Coordinator (Part-time)

The Oswego County Public Health Department has an immediate opening for a Children & Youth with Special Health Care Needs Coordinator to be responsible for providing information, advocacy, and referral assistance to families with children and youth from birth to 21 years of age who are suspected of having a serious or chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition which requires specialized care and services. This is a twenty (20) hours per week part-time position that requires schedule flexibility to include evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, social work, human services, early childhood special education or closely related field; OR bachelor's degree including 30 credit hours in the behavioral sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology, counseling, criminal justice, public justice, gerontology, human behavior, social work, vocational rehabilitation); OR bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in case management, nursing, social work, or closely related field.

Pay Rate: $26.27 per hour.
