Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students for the upcoming academic year near Pontiac, IL. This school-based role provides the chance to collaborate with educators and families across three buildings, guiding a manageable caseload of 20-25 students. Build meaningful relationships while applying your expertise in cognitive testing and IEP development in an onsite environment.

Position Details:

• Contract position running from August 17 to May 28
• Full-time hours: 35 hours per week
• Work hours: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification (Illinois licensure required)
• Experience with K-12 student populations
• Familiarity with cognitive assessments and interpreting results
• Proficiency in developing and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer cognitive and psychoeducational assessments for a diverse caseload
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing data-driven recommendations
• Develop and implement individualized strategies and interventions
• Maintain detailed, organized student records per state and district guidelines
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
• Serve as a resource on best practices in educational and psychological services
