Postdpctoral Fellow
Postdoctoral Position — Penzes Lab, Northwestern University, Chicago
The Penzes Lab in the Department of Neuroscience at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Chicago, USA) seeks qualified postdoctoral trainees to help develop novel therapeutic approaches for neuropsychiatric disorders. Our group studies the synaptic biology of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric risk genes and translates these discoveries into new treatments (e.g., Dos Santos et al., Neuron 2026; Forrest et al., Nature Communications 2024; Martín-de-Saavedra et al., Neuron 2022).
We seek enthusiastic, talented recent PhDs with experience in at least one of the following: neuropharmacology, drug development, molecular neurobiology, neuroscience, behavior, imaging, protein biochemistry, in vivo manipulations, or rodent models.
