Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role provides a chance to apply your expertise in psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling to foster student success and well-being over the course of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs and barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct counseling and support to students to address behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
• Assist in crisis intervention and promote positive behavioral supports throughout the school.
• Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with local and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure.
• Proven experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Position based in Aurora, Illinois.

Contract Details:

• This is a contract role for the full academic year.
