Job Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Director to join our team for a 4 month, maternity leave coverage fixed term contract. This will ideally be from mid-November 2025 through to March 2026.

Reporting to our VP, Content, you’ll be responsible for creating and delivering social media content on this key account with the help of a team of project managers, editors and designers. The Senior Social Content Manager is key in implementing client strategy and execution of campaign tasks, keeping a close eye on time tracking versus allocated budget and supporting in the quality assurance of project deliverables across several clients.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-130,000 USD, annually, and is pro-rated relative to the duration of the fixed term contract. This role is a hybrid position based out of either our Baltimore, MD or NYC offices.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery and Account Support:

• Develop best in-class social content strategies to clients by developing integrated, strategic social media plans, and lead ideas across channels

• Lead social, influencer marketing, and community management strategies that are audience-first and based on data-driven insights

• Create compelling social media content for the websites and all digital communications as well as creative briefs following client goals

• Utilize the best solutions and social content strategies by keeping up-to-date with the upcoming tools/tech solutions

• Review all incoming insight projects and filter this knowledge into social plans and campaigns to ensure consistency across campaigns and that all tactical media plan requirements are correctly implemented

• Monitor creative calendars and campaign budgeting providing senior approval

• Promote social media identifying opportunities for new channels and approaches that achieve results for clients and the agency

New Business & Pitch Support:

• Use creative concepts to influence thinking, champion expertise and win new business

• Build and run a replicable and scalable process for new business pitches to provide support for the Business Development team

• Support planning teams and clients, including RFPs

Training:

• Lead knowledge sharing sessions to strengthen agency’s overall capabilities and success within social media and best practices

• Share insights from cultural activities, trends, and educational opportunities that inspire and inform new thinking/opportunities

• Create bespoke and up-to date processes and frameworks to facilitate the growing use of social across teams, making it accessible to all

Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience working in the social media marketing space, ideally at creative agencies

• Somebody who is passionate about social media, entertainment and pop culture

• Experience creating content for social media: static asset, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes

• Experience running organic social campaigns

• Somebody with experience of building online communities

• Someone with experience delivering social campaigns at a national level
