Location: Herrin, Illinois

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 4 days per week with call required

Hours per Week:  40

Candidate Pay Rate:  $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families
• Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Contribute to a healthy workplace by managing conflict with professional communication
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing

Education

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine, and Robotic procedures
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records
• Flexibility to float to other facilities as needed
