Lennon's (located at 16 West Jefferson Avenue in Naperville, IL) is seeking an efficient, observant Busser to maintain table cleanliness and ensure a fast, seamless rotation of guests in our dining room.
Position Overview
As a Busser, you set the stage for our guests' comfort. Your speed and attention to detail directly impact how quickly tables are turned and how organized the dining room feels, making you a crucial partner to our hosting and serving teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Table Clearing: Clear dirty dishes, glassware, utensils, and napkins from tables promptly as guests finish their meals.
• Sanitization: Reset, wipe down, and sanitize tables and chairs completely between seatings to prepare for incoming parties.
• Floor & Station Upkeep: Monitor and clean floor spills immediately, sweep dining areas as needed, and keep service stations stocked with clean linens and ice.
• Water & Bread Service: Assist servers during peak hours by pouring water, refilling non-alcoholic drinks, or delivering opening bites to tables.
• Dishroom Support: Transport loaded bus tubs to the dishwashing area safely, sorting glassware and silverware carefully to minimize breakage.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Physical Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move quickly for long periods while lifting heavy dish trays (up to 40 lbs).
• Speed & Efficiency: Sharp spatial awareness and the ability to clear and reset tables rapidly under pressure.
• Professional Presence: Polite, approachable demeanor when moving through guest spaces and a clean personal appearance.
• Team Synergy: A proactive, helpful attitude with a strong focus on supporting your coworkers.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work high-volume shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
