Driver-- $750.00 sign-on bonus

JCMTD is committed to helping eliminate transportation barriers within the city and rural areas, by offering transportation to employment, Dr. appointments, school, shopping, and more.
Exemplary Duties/Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager; performs a variety of semi-skilled work in safely transporting clients and performs related work as required.
- All applicants that are chosen for employment must obtain a CDL Class B license with passenger endorsement and air brakes within 1 month of employment.
- Must pass background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- JCMTD offers paid training.
- $1,000 bonus once CDL are obtained.
- Completes daily vehicle inspections.
- All applicants must submit a written employment application that can be picked up from the JCMTD office or printed from the website (jcmtd.com).
- Keeps accurate trip records.
- Operate assigned routes.
- Collect fares.
- Cleaning, fueling, and report maintenance repairs needed.
- Maneuver and secure special equipment and wheelchairs.
- Use correct two-way radio procedures.
- Great customer service.
- Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
