**Immediate Hirring For Line Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to join the Line 1 Operating Team. Line 1 consists of four positions that rotate throughout the 8-hour shift. Responsibilities include placing blades on a conveyor line to pass through an oven/furnace, using a hand tool or grabber to move blades into a press, and transferring them to a quench for cooling. After cooling, the blades are hung on a line for painting, then removed for quality inspection and shipment. **Responsibilities** + Operate and rotate through four positions on Line 1 during the 8-hour shift. + Place blades on the conveyor line for processing through the oven/furnace. + Use hand tools or grabbers to move blades from the furnace to the press. + Transfer blades to the quench for cooling. + Hang cooled blades for painting and conduct quality inspections before shipment. + Ensure attention to detail when inspecting for quality defects. **Essential Skills** + General labor and production experience. + Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. + Ability to work effectively as a team player. + Proficiency in measuring and attention to detail. + Assembly line and machine operation experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with ample opportunities for advancement in various departments. Be prepared for occasional hot conditions due to the furnace/oven. Shifts available are 1st shift (6:00am - 2:00pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm), and 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:00am). Orientation starts at 6 AM with a comprehensive introduction to company operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
