Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Springfield, IL 62702 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2540-$2610
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:30 – 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per contract
• On-call: Required as needed
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Parking: Free with permit

Rad Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Active Illinois state license (must be in hand at submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures and sterile technique
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Competency in middle and older adult patient care

CT | Rad Tech Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including cardiac stent placement, implant closure device, IABP placement/removal, left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy
• Set up equipment and maintain sterile field for procedures
• Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias
• Apply isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Cerner
• Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends as required
