Industrial Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including HVAC systems and industrial electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
• Utilize logic controllers to diagnose electrical problems and implement solutions.
• Execute stick welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
• Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics is a must.
• PLC's, die cutters snd gluers experience is a plus
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (high and low voltage); certification as an industrial electrician is a plus.
• Proficiency in using field service tools, including ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; relevant certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of logic controllers for troubleshooting electrical issues is advantageous.
• Military experience is a plus but not required, demonstrating discipline and technical skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
