Are you an experienced tax and accounting professional looking to take on a leadership role in a supportive, growth-minded environment? Our small accounting firm is seeking a Tax & Accounting Manager with 5–6 years of experience to join our team.

About the Role

As our Tax & Accounting Manager, you’ll take charge of client engagements, oversee tax and accounting operations, and help shape the future of our firm. You’ll work directly with partners and clients, providing hands-on expertise and guidance while managing a small team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Oversee bookkeeping, financial statements, and compliance reporting
• Advise clients on tax planning, accounting strategies, and financial improvements
• Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff
• Stay current on tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Contribute to firm growth and client relationship management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification (preferred or actively pursuing)
• 5–6 years of public accounting experience, with strong tax and review background
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Lacerte, or similar)
