Service Technician – Industrial Equipment
Lake Zurich, IL | $50,000–$60,000+ DOE | ✈️ 70–80% Travel

We are seeking a Service Technician with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to join a growing industrial equipment manufacturer. This is a hands-on field role that offers excellent training, career growth, and the chance to work with cutting-edge air pollution control systems that make a global environmental impact.

What You’ll Do

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service custom industrial equipment.

• Work on mechanical systems including fans, blowers, hydraulics, pneumatics, actuators, and valves.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from 24V–480V (Allen Bradley PLCs/HMIs exposure is a plus).

• Travel extensively (70–80%) across the U.S. and occasionally internationally to support customer sites.

• Interact directly with customers—problem solving, training, and ensuring equipment runs at peak performance.

• Follow a structured training program with clear milestones at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–5+ years of hands-on service, field, or maintenance experience (open to recent grads with strong mechanical/electrical skills).

• Background in industrial service, HVAC, boilers, burners, blowers, or other OEM equipment a plus.

• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience—mechanically inclined individuals (auto, military, maintenance techs) are encouraged to apply.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

• Willingness to travel frequently, including some weekends.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with oxidizers, combustion equipment, or air handling systems.

• Previous exposure to PLCs, industrial controls, or custom machinery.

Compensation

• Base salary: $50,000–$60,000+ DOE .
