As a Sonographer at MercyOne Genesis, you will:
* Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records
* Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies
* Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff
* Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisions

*General Requirements*:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:
* Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
* Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
* Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)
If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.
* ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted
* Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment)
* Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter

Pay scale: $32.74 - $49.11 - pay is based on years of experience.
