Position Summary

Meridian Group International, is a global organization with an annual revenue of $500 million to $1 billion based in Deerfield Il. We are currently seeking a staff accountant with 2-3 years of experience with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. This position is responsible for preparing and recording journal entries, account reconciliations, and Accounts Payable.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter various accounting related entries
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts
• Review, verify, and enter AP invoices
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, f inance, or similar major with extensive accounting courses
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail- oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel
• Experience with ERP systems

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
