Job Title: Community Mental Health Center Receptionist

Job Summary : CMHC Receptionist is responsible for:

• Greet clients and guests to the Center
• Answer and responding to a high volume of phone calls
• Check clients in and out for their appointments
• Schedule follow up appointments and process prescription refill requests
• Return calls to clients and responding to messages
• Give instructions and resource information to clients
• Insurance verification and redetermination of benefits
• Collect copays and balances for services rendered
• Enter client information/scanning patient documents
• Route faxes, making copies, data entry

Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Work Experience: Experience in Healthcare or Mental Healthcare administrative setting preferred .

Minimum Skills Needed:

• Experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) System
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player, fast learner, and dependable
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks and perform with accuracy
• Effectively navigate conflict with kindness, caring, and professionalism

Job Type: Part - time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
