Description
The Instructor is a full-time, academic year position in the School of
Education, Health and Human Behavior. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in the principal preparation, teacher leader, and superintendent preparation programs. Responsibilities will include teaching graduate courses and service to the program, the department, the school and the university. Teaching assignments may include online, evening, weekend, and satellite courses. Summer assignments are available subject to enrollment and funding.Terms of Appointment \

State \Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must have a Masters degree in Educational Administration
- Applicants must have a current Professional Educators License with a
- Applicants must have at least two years of PK-12 administrative
- Clearly demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and
- Ability to effectively teach graduate courses leading to
- Knowledge, skill, and demonstrated commitment to anti-racism,
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Professional Educators License with a Superintendent
- At least five years of PK-12 administrative experience
- At least two years as a district leader
- Skill in mentoring and advising graduate students
- Skill in supervising field-based internships
- Readiness to cooperate on shared responsibilities in a department
