Job Summary The Maintenance Technician performs diversified maintenance duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency repairs, along with preventive maintenance and proper documentation.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with safety policies

• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders

• Diagnose equipment issues and repair or replace components

• Test, adjust, and restore equipment to optimal performance

• Identify and report faulty operations or unsafe conditions

• Order parts and schedule work using Microsoft Office tools

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times

• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records

✅ Qualifications

• 2-year trades degree completed/in progress or 4+ years of plant maintenance experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be 18 years of age

• Ability to read, write, and speak English (bilingual a plus)

• Welding and fabrication experience

• Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and AC/DC drives

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and temperature variations

• Some locations may be warm or refrigerated

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

• Weekend or overnight coverage may be required

Responsibilities

· Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.

· Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.

· Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.

· Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
