Customer Service Representative

LaSalle Network is partnering with a well-established educational products company to hire a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Vernon Hills, IL. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working as part of a collaborative team.

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers, supporting everything from orders and shipments to general inquiries and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is positive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while providing a high level of service.

What You'll Do

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms

• Assist customers with orders, shipments, product questions, and general inquiries

• Monitor customer portals for order activity, updates, and shipping notifications

• Research and resolve customer concerns and escalated issues

• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

• Monitor and respond to customer feedback and reviews

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are addressed quickly and effectively

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1–3 years of customer service experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong problem-solving skills and follow-through

• Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude

Position Details

• Compensation: $20.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
