Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide prehensive therapy services in a K-12 school setting located in Des Plaines, IL. This contract role spans the 25/26 school year, offering guaranteed hours and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and mobility within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring physical therapy.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student wellness and educational goals.
• Monitor and document student progress in pliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that enhance students physical abilities and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Provide training and consultation to school staff regarding physical therapy techniques and acmodations.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy.
• Knowledge of K-12 educational environments and ability to adapt therapy techniques accordingly.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
