Caregiver/Care Partner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients. This role requires dedication, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others. You will assist individuals who are elderly, injured, disabled, or recovering from illness, ensuring they maintain dignity and independence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility support, in accordance with each client's care plan.
  • Encourage and support clients in performing as much of their personal care as possible to maintain independence.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serve meals to clients, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration while respecting their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Observe and document clients’ eating habits, physical conditions, and emotional well-being, and report any significant changes to the supervisor.
  • Promote social engagement by facilitating participation in leisure and planned activities, fostering friendships, and encouraging a sense of community.
  • Maintain accurate daily records, including documentation of activities, observations, medication assistance (if applicable), and incidents, as per company policies.
  • Keep the environment clean, safe, and organized by performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, kitchen cleaning, and maintaining common areas.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or client requests, adhering to established protocols.


Qualifications:

  • Authorization to work in the United States. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a caregiving role (professional or personal, such as assisting a child or adult family member).
  • Proof of vaccination status (vaccinated or unvaccinated candidates welcome; documentation required prior to client care).
  • Flexible availability to work day shifts, including short and irregular hours as needed.

Compensation:

  • $16–$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with opportunity to grow

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Preferred at least 2 years of experience as a PCA.
  • Has a PCA or CNA certification.
  • Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof of prior vaccination).
  • Can work day-shifts come & go, and must be willing to take regular short hours.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
  • Allows and encourages residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
  • Serves meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and may assist in preparing meals following pre planned menus.
  • Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids while respecting the resident’s right to free choice and records and reports changes in the resident’s eating habits to the supervisor.
  • Initiates and participates in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar and encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs to develop friendships with other residents.
  • Maintains residents’ records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures; documents medication distribution as applicable, leisure activities, incidents, and observations; reports any changes in residents’ physical condition and/or behavior, and visitors; observes and reports the health and emotional condition of each resident; and promptly reports all changes to the supervisor.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents; performs general housekeeping; and follows cleaning schedules for resident laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas.
  • Follows proper procedures in emergency situations and responds promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance.
