Branch Manager (Flexo Inks) Location Mount Prospect, IL : Job Title: Branch Manager Department: Branch location Reports to: Director of Liquid Inks UV/H20 FLSA Status: Exempt Summary- Branch Manager (FLEXO INKS) should have the ability to manage employees, oversee the daily branch ink orders and other branch ink process requirements, Inventory, and follow company guidelines and policy's. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- 1. Oversees all Branch day to day Operations 2. Identify areas that need improvements and make such changes 3. Inventory Management 4. QC - formulation control per Corporate (Supervise / assist) 5. Supervise all Branch Employees' 6. Assess Employee needs / Assess employee Performance 7. Support sales and trouble shoot if able 8. Invoice and Purchase approvals 9. Building, Equipment and Maintenance 10. Health and Safety guidelines being followed at all times 11. Maintain and upkeep of any calibrations of all Equipment 12. Waste Prevention 13. QC and Color Matching (if lab person is not available)14. Local Data entry into SAP 15. Record keeping Filling of all customer and company documents 16. Process weekly payables to corporate once approved for payment process 17. Process payroll bi-weekly 18. Always practice Good House Keeping. In addition to the above there may be additional duties assigned in order to complete the job at hand. Follow Health and Safety Guidelines, waste prevention, Stock Rotation. Supervisory Responsibilities Yes Qualifications-to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Business or Bachelor's Degree preferred, and minimum 8-10 years management experience in the Ink Industry . Language skills- English Mathematical skills- Advanced math and metric system knowledge Reasoning ability- Able to successful interact professionally with employees and customers daily. Computer skills- SAP, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, and Power Point helpful. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- None Other skills and abilities- Sit down fork truck Other qualifications- Formulation knowledge, lab equipment knowledge Physical demands- The ability to lift 50 lbs, requires standing 50%, requires using continuous hand movements, able to see and read instructions clearly, etc. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
