Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is an entrepreneurial-minded, roll-up-your-sleeves, exciting role in a near start-up division. This individual will be responsible for managing products on our website, the promotional calendar and events program. They will be responsible for procedures to ensure new products are properly listed on the BaseLayer web site, events are planned and desired results are achieved and implementing promotions across all sales channels. This is a hands-on position working with other employees and marketing technologies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Optimize the on-site product journey on ensuring all available products are assigned to all relevant categories and cross-sell/upsell opportunities are maximized
- Manage and execute the BaseLayer promotional calendar across all sales channels, including Amazon coupons, site promotions, Prime Days, etc.
- Partner with Customer Service team as well as become a customer advocate to help manage and implement responses to customer reviews and questions, as well as reduce friction for marketplace and site customers and maintain a high level if account health
- Analyze BaseLayer website product level data (sales, conversion rate, page views, returns, clicks, etc.) to determine why a product trends up or down, overall site sales, report observations and propose strategies to troubleshoot opportunity areas
- Maintain, analyze and communicate promotional program result reports
- Prepare and distribute BaseLayer site reports
- Build and implement site listings for all new products, including photos and videos. Edit existing product listings when needed. Coordinate with team members to ensure consistent content across multiple sales channels
- Partner with third-party agencies to develop creative assets for site promotions and product listings
- Manage site apps and make recommendations to enhance the BaseLayerLabs.com user experience (UX)
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned in managements sole discretion
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
- Experience writing product listings for e-Commerce sites
- Nurture strategic relationships with third-party partners (marketing agencies, photographers, designers)
- Experience with BigCommerce or other site platforms
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Team player but can work and hit goals independently
- Able to develop recommendations for processes, issues and other business decisions
- Minimum two (2) years experience in eCommerce marketplace management
- Ability to multitask
- Fulltime in-office working environment
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done
- Excellent verbal and written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Able and willingness to learn new skills
