Location Overview Cboe HQ is located in the historic Old Post Office district, it’s a landmark that blends classic architecture with modern amenities. With its prime location in the heart of downtown, the OPO Building provides easy access to major transportation hubs, including Union Station and multiple CTA lines, making it convenient for commuters. Role Overview We are seeking a results‑oriented HRIS professional to enhance, and support Cboe’s global Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform with a primary focus on Security, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management. This role is a key technical point of contact partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable solutions that power core HR programs and services. You will translate business needs into secure, auditable configurations and data flows while championing process excellence and employee experience. Your responsibilities will be: Lead the ongoing design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Workday Security (domain, business process, and role‑based security groups), ensuring proper access, Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls, and audit readiness Own configuration for Time Tracking and Absence Management (eligibility rules, accruals, time entry/calculation rules, time offs/leaves, calendars and validation frameworks) Partner with HR and the business to implement secure end‑to‑end workflows across the associate life cycle Build and optimize calculated fields, reports, and dashboards to automate reconciliation, audits and operational KPIs; enable self‑service where appropriate Manage semi‑annual Workday releases and weekly updates: assess impact, prototype features in Sandbox, lead UAT, deploy configurations, and update SOPs/runbooks Ensure data integrity via routine validations, EIB loads, and error resolution Provide tier‑2/3 support and guidance to HR/Payroll operations; triage defects, analyze root causes, and deliver fixes with clear communications and training Drive continuous improvement and standardization across regions; recommend product roadmap items and process simplification to increase accuracy, compliance, and efficiency The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HRIS experience with 3+ years hands‑on Workday configuration Demonstrated mastery of Workday security framework Practical experience configuring time entry/calculation rules, absence eligibility & accruals, and payroll elements Strong reporting skills (advanced/calc fields, custom reports and EIB templates) Proven ability to gather requirements, write specifications, lead UAT, and maintain SOPs Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Benefits and Perks of working for Cboe Global Markets Fair and competitive salary and incentive compensation packages with an upside for overachievement Generous paid time off, including vacation, personal days, sick days and annual community service days Flexible, hybrid work environment Health, dental and vision benefits, including access to telemedicine and mental health services 2:1 401(k) match, up to 8% match immediately upon hire Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan Tax Savings Accounts for health, dependent and transportation Employee referral bonus program Volunteer opportunities to help you give back to your communities Some of our associates’ favorite benefits and perks include: Complimentary lunch, snacks and coffee in any Cboe office Paid Tuition assistance and education opportunities Generous charitable giving company match Paid parental leave and fertility benefits On‑site gyms and discounts to other fitness centers Paid Time Off More About Cboe Global Markets We’re reimagining the future of the workplace by focusing on what matters most, our people. Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $97,750-$120,750. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below: US Geographic Differentials 110%: Austin TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, San Diego CA 115%: Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA 120%: Boston MA, Washington DC 125%: New York City NY 130%: San Francisco CA Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
