Visiting Angels is Hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)!

Location: Plainfield, IL
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Setting: In-Home Care (Client Homes)
Pay Rate: $18.50-$20.50 per hour

ResponsibilitiesDaily Care Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
• Bathing and personal hygiene
• Grooming and dressing
• Mobility assistance and transfers
• Provide non-skilled personal and skin care support
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe home environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Offer medication reminders
• Assist with ambulation and mobility as needed

Client Support & Relationship Building

• Develop meaningful and trusting relationships with assigned clients
• Deliver reliable, consistent care that promotes independence and dignity
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff
• Maintain professional caregiving standards at all times

Requirements

Must Have

• Active Illinois CNA Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to stand, pivot, and safely assist clients with transfers
• Dependable attendance and professional approach to client care

Nice to Have

• Previous home care experience
• Experience working with seniors in a one-on-one setting
• Training or experience in:
• Dementia Care
• Parkinson's Care
• Hospice Care
