Job Description:

Senior cloud architect responsible for designing, implementing, and governing GCP solutions for a global enterprise environment.
Lead architectural decisions, migration planning, and platform standardization across multiple business units.

Experience Requirements
Minimum: 7+ years in cloud architecture and enterprise solutions
Preferred: 10+ years with large-scale cloud transformations
Industry: Enterprise architecture experience in regulated industries preferred

Enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
Cloud-native architecture patterns and microservices design
Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architecture
API design and integration patterns
Security architecture and compliance frameworks
Data architecture and analytics platforms

Platform & Infrastructure
Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies
Container platforms and serverless architectures
Networking and security design
Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Cost optimization and FinOps practices
Migration planning and execution strategies

GCP Skills (Required)
Core GCP Services (Expert Level)
Compute: Full suite including GCE, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions
Storage & Databases: Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable, Firestore, BigQuery
Networking: Advanced VPC, Interconnect, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor
Security: Advanced IAM, Organization Policies, VPC Service Controls
Analytics: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Data Fusion

Advanced GCP
Landing zone design and implementation
Organization and project structure design
Advanced networking (Shared VPC, peering, interconnects)
Identity federation and hybrid connectivity
Compliance and governance automation
Multi-region architecture and data residency

Certifications (Required)
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect (Required)

Additional Preferred:
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer
AWS/Azure equivalent certifications?
Leadership: Experience leading technical teams and architecture reviews
Communication: Excellent presentation skills for C-level executives
Business Acumen: Understanding of business requirements and ROI analysis
Vendor Management: Experience with cloud provider relationships
Compliance: Knowledge of SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and industry regulations
Consulting: Client-facing experience and stakeholder management
