$75,000–$80,000 Base + Performance Bonus

This role is for a builder, not a placeholder.
We’re a privately owned, expanding home care company looking for a results-driven General Manager to take full ownership of our Oak Park office. You will run this location end-to-end: operations, people, growth, and performance - with the authority to make decisions and the accountability to deliver results.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Revenue & Growth Leadership
• Drive new business through referral partnerships, community outreach, and local marketing
• Build relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, social workers, and referral sources
• Own growth targets and adjust strategy to hit them
Operational Ownership
• Run daily operations with efficiency and urgency
• Ensure schedules are filled and caregivers utilized properly
• Implement scalable systems and eliminate bottlenecks
Team Leadership & Accountability
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead staff and caregivers
• Set expectations and hold teams accountable
• Build a results-driven culture
Client Experience & Retention
• Ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Handle escalations and protect relationships
• Use feedback to improve retention
Financial & KPI Management
• Own budgets, KPIs, utilization, and margins
• Oversee billing, payroll, and cost control
Compliance
• Maintain regulatory compliance
• Ensure licensing and audit readiness

* Consult with families or friends of the patients to arrange home care details and needs.
* Monitor home care service operations to ensure that they comply with applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
* Negotiate contracts for home care services.
* Respond to customer complaints, legal inquiries, payment negotiations, or other post-service matters.
* Schedule work hours for home care or contract employees.
* Set marketing, sales, or other financial goals for branch and monitor progress toward these goals.
* Interview and hire new employees.
* Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
* Explain goals, policies, or procedures to staff members.
