Duties

• Define the architecture, design solutions, & develop test &implementation of Business Intelligence & software applications
• determinethe optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse source system platformsand moving it to the BI
• implement the ETL infrastructure used at a projectlevel
• establish and enforce technical standards for deliverables of projects
• create design pattern templates for deliverable objects
• design the systemcomponents for the extract/transform or conversion of data from source systemsto the target application
• construct the extract/transform, transfer and auditcomponents of a data warehousing system
• define the data load procedures
• facilitate the change data capture
• develop automation to improve and eliminatethe manual intervention to an optimal level
• develop a framework which canscale from batch based ETL to event-driven ETL architecture
• define andimplement ETL development standards and procedures
• define and implement ETLtool configuration
• ensure effective ETL functional decomposition intodeliverable objects
• ensure ETL quality through inspections and knowledgesharing
• identify patterns and correlations among data elements
• perform dataprofiling and data mapping
• determine the data sources and formats required byvarious reports
• and participate in requirements and design workshops

Requirements

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,Business, or related field, followed by five years of progressive,post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive,post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation, or Master’s degreein Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and three years ofwork experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a relatedoccupation.
