How You'll Shine

As a Painter II, you will be responsible for completing all steps involved in the painting process at the resort, including the more complex paining duties inside and outside the facility. Maintain the company’s expected high quality standards and will follow all safety protocols as dictated by company policy and maintain Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), including the new Global Harmonized System (GHS), regulations.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Removal of old paint from surface to prepare surface for painting, fill nail holes, cracks, and joints, smooth surfaces and apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.
• Ensure your area of responsibility meets all company compliance standards, using the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Utilize scaffolding or set up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Working knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in the painting trade.
• Knowledgeable in safety use for power tools and shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently, to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with computer systems including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• 3-5+ years of apprentice painting experience.

Compensation

Generally starting at $24.00 - $27.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
