Project Manager (Chicago)

Ahava Services LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and support IT and business projects, with a strong focus on Salesforce implementations and compliance-driven environments . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage projects across the full lifecycle (initiation to closure)
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Prepare key project documentation (entrance criteria, project plans, status reports, and closure documents)
• Coordinate project meetings and communicate with stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Drive project success through effective leadership and team collaboration
• Manage change requests and ensure proper change management processes
• Track performance metrics and ensure timely delivery of project milestones

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 5-7 years of Project Management experience
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMP preferred)
• Experience managing Salesforce projects or working within Salesforce environments
• Experience working with Compliance Offices, Title IX programs, or regulatory/government environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven ability in risk management, problem-solving, and critical thinking
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of K12 or higher education Student Information system, Compliance management
• Understanding of Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, and DevOps concepts
• Experience with budget management and cost tracking
• Ability to manage pressure, resolve conflicts, and adapt to change
