UI/UX Designer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a senior mobile UI/UX designer to work with our team on the web/mobile application we have under development.
The designer will start with a current in-house prototype and carry out a complete design to achieve the most effective and compelling user experience for the particular demographic[s] we are targeting.
The initial application is for web & iOS, and the designer will work closely with our product team, and our iOS developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create wireframes, storyboards and user flows to communicate design.
Present and defend design proposals to marketing, engineering and executives.
Propose designs that are innovative.
Emphasize directions that are feasible in fast product timeframes.
Work with a team using agile approach with biweekly iterations.
Carry out user research and usability studies to evaluate the design.
Design for a range of mobile devices, initially iOS.
QUALIFICATIONS:
UI/UX design experience, 3+ years with web and iOS applications.
One or more applications successfully launched in the App Store.
Experience with design & mockup tools such as Photoshop, Omnigraffle, InDesign, Balsamiq, and InVision.
Work closely with UI developer teams to deliver applications.
Design and conduct user and usability studies to inform design.
Experience with wellness and/or speech recognition apps is a big plus.
