Summer Pastoral Internship

If you’re preparing for a lifetime of ministry—whether through seminary, Bible college, or simply responding to a growing call—you don’t need to wait until you graduate to be trained.

At Redeemer Church, we believe that the local church is God’s primary training ground for future leaders. Whether you’re pursuing pastoral ministry, sensing a call to missions, or want to grow in leadership in a specific ministry, we’ve built a pathway for you. Through our structured Ministry Apprenticeship Program, you’ll gain theological formation, hands-on ministry experience, and intentional mentorship in a local church that treasures doctrinal clarity, spiritual maturity, and joyful service.

Long-term Training (for those called to be pastors, elders, or church planters)
A long-term, multi-stage training process focused on developing character, conviction, and competency for pastoral ministry. Includes the Churchmen Program, preaching labs, pastoral coaching, and ordination preparation.

Summer Internship (Pastoral track – Men only – for future pastors)
This 12-week immersive experience is designed for young men discerning a call to pastoral ministry. It combines real ministry involvement with robust theological training through Redeemer’s Churchmen Program—our leadership cohort for men.

Interns will be placed in a key ministry area (Students, Twenties, Worship, or Kids), while also participating weekly in doctrinal labs, preaching workshops, and personal mentorship from our pastoral team.

Program Highlights:

Full participation in the Churchmen Program
Weekly sessions on ecclesiology, doctrine, preaching, and pastoral leadership
Teaching labs, sermon feedback, and doctrinal assignments
Hands-on ministry involvement
Event planning, Sunday responsibilities, and office hours
Exposure to the life of a healthy, Reformed Baptist church
Host family housing & stipend provided
Mid-program and final evaluations with feedback from pastoral staff
Designed as a launch point into the Pastoral Track or seminary preparation

This program is for men who want to be challenged, sharpened, and shepherded as they seek clarity in their calling and growth in pastoral maturity.
