Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Chicago, IL, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position during the next school year. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful work in supporting students through multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education evaluation processes.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: August 20, 2025 May 29, 2026 or August 20, 2025 October 31, 2025 (maternity leave coverage)
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 2:00 PM
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Student Range: Early Childhood to 2nd Grade (building-level), with district-wide responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead MTSS problem-solving initiatives to support student academic and behavioral success
• Conduct initial special education referrals and comprehensive evaluations
• Collaborate with problem-solving teams throughout the 2025-26 school year, providing expertise and guidance
• Complete evaluations both within the assigned building and across the district as needed
• Support the development and implementation of intervention plans aligned with student needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid school psychologist credential/license
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings, preferably with early childhood through elementary populations
• Strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks and special education processes
• Ability to conduct thorough psychological assessments and interpret results effectively
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work with educators, families, and specialists
