The IT Security Specialist reports to the IT Security Manager and is responsible for security incident management operations at Vistex in accordance with Vistex IS policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a representative and contact point for IT Security queries and issues at the Vistex Hoffman Estates office in Chicago

• Operates and develops procedures to ensure ISO27001 and SOC audit requirements are met

• Develops, conducts and improves security processes and procedures in line with Vistex information security standards and policies

• Responds to customer and partner security assessments, questionnaires and queries

• Provide reports on Information Security metrics as required

• As part of the IT Security function acts as an escalation point for security incidents

• Actively monitors and responds to alerts and detections in Vistex’s security toolset including SIEM, endpoint protection, web filtering/DNS protection, and Office 365 alerts

• Works closely with Vistex teams and manage service providers to implement security improvements, to address vulnerabilities and to respond to security issues

• Works flexibly when required by projects and tasks with colleagues from other regions or when required by out-of-hours incidents

• Identifies and stays informed of the latest security trends and issues through various publications and sources

The compensation for this position is $80k - $88k annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills, and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus.
