This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Pay: $21.50/hr | Eligible for productivity bonus paid out with every paycheck

Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until completion,

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a range of distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, staging customer orders, processing returns, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory organization and control.
• Verify incoming merchandise against shipping documentation; inspect products and report discrepancies or visible defects.
• Stock materials in designated storage locations to ensure accurate inventory placement and accessibility.
• Utilize radio-frequency (RF) scanning devices to support picking, packing, and inventory management activities, as required.
• Assemble customer orders by accurately selecting items from shelves, placing them into totes for packing and shipment, and confirming quantities and customer specifications.
• Enter orders, returns, and related data accurately into warehouse management systems.
• Inspect returned merchandise and restock items to appropriate warehouse locations.
• Complete daily inventory counts and research discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support inventory audits and related procedures as requested.
• Perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment, and order fulfillment within secured cage/vault or refrigerated environments, as required.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other motorized equipment to move inventory, when certified and authorized.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new associates as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience preferred.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret the English language to accurately identify product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• General understanding of distribution center (DC) workflows with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure product integrity and reduce the risk of work-related injuries.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment when carrying out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification, as required, to safely operate powered industrial equipment at heights of 20’–40’, including reach trucks, order pickers, and forklifts, in compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hazardous materials (HAZMAT) training and certification, if required.
• Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to train, support, and assist associates as needed.

• This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
