Social Media Manager
LaSalle Network is looking for a strategic and collaborative Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of social media content across all channels for one of the region’s largest energy providers. This is a newly created, high-impact Social Media Manager role focused on elevating the company’s voice, managing executive presence on social, and ensuring thoughtful, compliant messaging across platforms.
This position requires someone with experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., utilities, healthcare, finance, or pharma), strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with C-suite leadership.
Social Media Manager Key Responsibilities:
Lead social media strategy and content execution across all company platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.)
Manage a small but mighty social media team (3 direct reports), including:
One team member focused on real-time customer response
Two focused on proactive messaging, company narrative, and community engagement
Collaborate with creative support (photographer, videographer) and delegate tasks effectively
Oversee executive social presence—primarily for the CEO—including:
Developing a cohesive content strategy
Writing and editing LinkedIn posts
Attending events and capturing timely content
Work closely with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and agency partners to ensure brand alignment and consistency
Ensure all content meets regulatory, compliance, and reputational standards
Bring forward innovative ideas (e.g., short-form video like Instagram Reels) that align with the realities of a regulated environment
Provide analytics and performance reports to key stakeholders
Social Media Manager Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in social media, communications, or digital content roles
Prior experience working in a regulated industry is required
Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with and support C-suite leaders
Proven ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Experience developing and managing social strategy, both reactive and proactive
Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
