Reach Truck Forklift 1st Shift | $20 | Glendale Heights, IL Overview

As a Reach Truck Driver, you will take responsibility for handling order sheets, selecting the most efficient forklift for the task, locating products within the warehouse, and ensuring precise picking and packing. You will also manage the necessary paperwork associated with these tasks. This role requires physical exertion, including repeatedly lifting items up to 40 lbs to build pallets. Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate forklift for efficient operation (sit down forklift, stand up forklift, reach truck).
• Handle order sheets to determine job requirements.
• Locate products in the warehouse and ensure correct picking and packing.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately.
• Engage in physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly for pallet building.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in operating forklifts, particularly reach trucks.
• Experience in order picking and pallet building.
• Competence in using computer systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is clean, well-lit, and well-organized, providing ample space to operate forklifts effectively. It features around 10-12 docks for incoming and outgoing products.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
