Greenlink Energy Solutions is building the next generation of commercial clean energy infrastructure—designed for performance, resilience, and long-term value. We partner with organizations to develop and integrate intelligent energy systems that reduce risk, control costs, and strengthen operational independence. Our work spans solar PV, battery energy storage systems, HVAC modernization, and energy optimization. Greenlink operates as more than a contractor. We serve as a developer, integrator, and long-term strategic partner—bringing together technical expertise, financial alignment, and operational discipline to ensure projects perform over the long term. As we continue to grow, we are building the internal capabilities needed to support a scaling clean energy platform—including legal, regulatory, and contract expertise that enables responsible growth and strong partnerships. About This Role
Greenlink Energy Solutions is seeking an In-House Counsel to support the company’s growing commercial operations and strategic initiatives. This role will serve as a trusted legal advisor to leadership, helping guide contract development, regulatory compliance, risk management, and business operations. The position will work across multiple functions—including development, operations, finance, and partnerships—to ensure Greenlink’s projects and programs are structured effectively and executed in accordance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. This is an opportunity for a legally minded professional who is excited to work in a fast-growing clean energy company and help build the legal and compliance foundation that supports long-term growth. What You’ll Do

- Support communication with state agencies and program partners when needed
- Act as a legal resource for leadership and internal teams on business, contractual, and operational matters
- Support policy development and internal governance processes
- Help build scalable legal and compliance frameworks as the company grows
- Juris Doctor (JD) and an active license to practice law (or ability to obtain Illinois licensure)
- 3+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, or public-sector legal work
- Strong experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and agreements
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business guidance
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or environmental law
- Familiarity with public funding programs, government contracts, or grant compliance
- Experience supporting growing companies or startups
- Interest in clean energy, sustainability, or climate-related initiatives
